C Storage area with access to the goods hoist serving 5 levels.

Conjectural reconstruction by James Brown of the south west corner of the Hall on Level 2. It shows what it may have looked like in the 16th c. (and could do so again) with painted ceiling, frescoes and wall decoration to mimic wood panelling. For scale, note the doorway - 5' 9" high.
